About CryptoSwift
CryptoSwift develops and provides technology solutions supporting compliance with Travel Rule and Transfer of Funds requirements, as well as broader regulations to combat financial crime, including secure messaging, transaction-risk assessment, counterparty due diligence and automated compliance workflows.
Operated by CryptoSwift OÜ from Tartu, Estonia, the platform is an end-to-end, API-driven solution for sending and receiving Travel Rule messages, assessing transaction and counterparty risk, and reaching a compliance decision before an on-chain payment settles.
Travel Rule platform
- Secure messaging: send and receive Travel Rule messages with counterparty VASPs through a single REST API, built on an open-source Travel Rule protocol
- Rule Engine: automate compliance decisions against the institution's own policy, with escalation to manual review where needed
- Risk scoring: counterparty Travel Rule risk scoring returned in the same response as delivery status
- On-premises extension: an outpost component for institutions that need to keep sensitive processing in their own environment
Counterparty intelligence
- VASP Directory: a network of 2,500+ identified VASPs with profiles, legal entities, jurisdictions and regulatory context
- Counterparty due diligence: VASP due-diligence to support onboarding and ongoing monitoring
- Self-hosted wallet verification: flexible verification of non-custodial wallets with multiple proof methods, blockchain-agnostic
- Wallet intelligence & analytics: on-chain risk screening, multi-provider KYT aggregation and heuristic wallet attribution
Regulatory coverage
The platform is built to institutional requirements and aligned with FATF Recommendation #16, the EU's MiCA framework and the Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR), and is designed to resolve the "Sunrise" issue of uneven Travel Rule adoption across jurisdictions. CryptoSwift states GDPR compliance and DORA readiness, running on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Who it is for
Crypto-asset service providers, exchanges, custodians, wallet providers and payment institutions that need to meet Travel Rule and Transfer of Funds obligations with a compliant, API-first workflow.
